Adapting ergonomics to real-life situations

Description

Adapting ergonomics to real-life situations

Individual module or integrated into the “Human Resources & Talent"

How to effectively adapt your workstation to the specific constraints of the field?

This module offers you a practical immersion to answer this key question, by guiding you through the analysis of three real-life work situations, representative of the most common sedentary environments.

Why is this module essential?

✔ Because applying good ergonomic principles is not limited to knowing the rules: you also need to know how to adapt them to the reality of the field.

✔ Because poorly adjusted settings on a sedentary workstation can lead to long-term MSDs (musculoskeletal disorders), chronic fatigue, and employee disengagement.

What you will experience in this module:

• You will be confronted with 3 interactive case studies to adjust, correct, and improve workstations varied.

• You will make strategic choices to adapt postures and the environment, taking into account:

– physical constraints,

– available tools,

– individual user characteristics.

• You will test your knowledge in a final mega quiz to anchor best practices.

• Finally, you will benefit from a personalized assessment delivered by a virtual coach to conclude on your progress and points of attention.

This module can be followed independently, or as part of the complete “Principles of Ergonomics in the Workplace” course, integrated into our “Human Resources & Talent” e-learning range.

A module to move from theory to action, in realistic conditions.
