Tranchées et excavations (Version anglaise)

Tranchées et excavations (Version anglaise)

Description

Generally, an excavation is a hole in the ground caused by removal of materials.   A trench is an excavation with a depth greater than the width. Working in trenches and excavations is dangerous for both workers working inside them and those on the surface. Too many workers have been injured on this type of construction site, some even lost their lives.

Deaths in trenches are mostly caused by the burial of workers following collapse of walls. However, it is possible to prevent such scenarios through careful planning of the work. To this end, this training will enable you to prevent the risks inherent in working in trenches and excavations.
