Safety in the dental operating room is based on three pillars: asepsis, which includes physical barriers and sterilization of instruments; prevention of occupational risks, particularly by wearing appropriate PPE (gloves, masks, glasses) and hand hygiene; and environmental hygiene, with cleaning and disinfection of surfaces and ventilation control.
This training will allow the learner to adopt safe behaviors that comply with good practices in the operating room in order to prevent accidents, contamination and musculoskeletal disorders.
